Trench Heater Fan - Tangential Fans

Trench Heater Fan - Tangential Fans

Trench Heater Fan

Tangential Fans can be supplied in different fan diameters and lengths as indicated in the table above. The appropriate fan size should be determined according to the internal height of the convector. The larger the diameter selected, the higher the airflow provided, which positively affects your heating capacity.

The fans operate with a safe 24V DC voltage. The motors are EC motors. This provides both very low energy consumption and allows for 0-10V proportional speed control. Since the maximum fan speed can be proportionally adjusted when needed, comfort conditions (airflow - noise) varying according to the individual can be set as desired.

All fans can be delivered from stock from our Istanbul warehouse. If you have convectors with a broken fan or that you think are noisy, contact us. We will recommend the most suitable and comfortable fan for you. You can test both its performance and noise levels in our office if you wish.

Detailed information about the trench heaters where these fans are used

STEKON convectors are used in front of glass, in screed, or in raised floors. With many grille alternatives, they can meet different aesthetic expectations. Their installation methods save space for decorative purposes.

Trench heaters can be used for primary or secondary heating purposes. For primary heating, convectors are selected to meet the entire heating capacity of the environment where they are used. The model and length used in the design play an important role. Trench heaters used for secondary heating are generally used to prevent cold
air radiation that may occur in front of glass and disturb people in environments already heated by devices such as air handling units – fan coils. They can also be used to prevent the risk of condensation (fogging) that may occur on glass surfaces in very humid environments.

What is a Tangential Fan? Advantages and Areas of Use

Tangential fans are specially designed fans that distribute air with a wide and thin airflow. These fans, which usually stand out with their long structure, efficiently meet ventilation needs by providing even distribution over a large area. They are widely used in cooling and heating systems and are particularly known for their silent operation.

Working Principle of Tangential Fans

Tangential fans draw air through rotor blades and blow it out through a narrow outlet with a strong airflow. This ensures homogeneous air distribution. Thanks to the fan's long structure, it creates effective air circulation over large areas.

Advantages of Tangential Fans

  1. Homogeneous Air Distribution: Thanks to their long structure, they provide even airflow over a large area.
  2. Silent Operation: They are preferred in noise-sensitive areas, especially since they are equipped with silent fan technology.
  3. Efficient Cooling and Heating: By distributing airflow homogeneously, they provide a balanced temperature throughout the space.
  4. Compact Design: Thanks to their thin and long structure that can fit into narrow spaces, they can be used without harming the decoration.
  5. Low Energy Consumption: Thanks to their efficient operating principle, they minimize energy consumption.

Areas of Use for Tangential Fans

  • Air Conditioning Systems: Tangential fans are used in central air conditioning systems for both cooling and heating purposes.
  • Electronic Devices: They are preferred in the cooling systems of computers, projectors, and other electronic devices.
  • Commercial and Industrial Buildings: Used in large-volume buildings to provide homogeneous air circulation.
  • Home Appliances: Tangential fans are also found in home appliances such as ovens, heaters, and air conditioners.

Conclusion

Tangential fans offer an effective solution in both commercial and domestic applications with their homogeneous air distribution, silent operation, and energy efficiency. They are an ideal choice for providing balanced airflow over a large area in spaces where air circulation is critical.
