Project Request
At the Ford Otosan Gölcük plant, two large industrial doors used for material flow remained open for long periods during the day. In winter this created cold draughts for personnel and let conditioned indoor air escape, causing significant energy loss.
Solution
Following the site survey, 4,200 mm Teddington Ratiovent industrial air curtains — built from 1,800 mm and 2,400 mm modules — were specified for each door. The unheated system, combined with CONVERGO® nozzle technology, delivered high sealing performance at low airflow. An economic payback report submitted to Ford Otosan engineers confirmed the return on investment, providing a solution that improved staff comfort while minimising energy losses.
